Aditya joined the lab as a postdoctoral fellow in September 2021 and has been working on developing drug-like molecules for the treatment of angiogenic dependent conditions. He is working on several projects, including the design and development of novel pomalidomide derivatives for treatment of multiple myeloma, the development of peptides for inhibition of angiogenesis by targeting Slc38A1 and development of a Tie 2 agonist. Aditya is an experienced medicinal chemist. He received his Ph.D. from Indian Institute of Science, Bangalore, in 2017. His Ph.D. thesis work is based on development of anti-cancer molecules for photodynamic therapy application. He has worked on development of pseudo peptides for chelation therapy during his stay at the Atomic Energy Commission Grenoble, France (January 2018-July 2019) as Enhanced Eurotalent Postdoctoral Fellow. Prior to his arrival at our lab, he had moved to the University of Birmingham, UK as a Marie Skłodowska Curie Postdoctoral Fellowship to work on DNA 3 -way junction binding nano cylinders from September 2019 to September 2021.
